A car makes its way from the Levant to Annabiyeh. Inside it is a corpse, two men and a woman, enveloped in apprehensive silence, and outside a fierce war that is not yet full of victims.
Many barriers that this family will have to cross on the ground to implement the father’s will to bury him in the soil of his village, and other psychological barriers between the three neighborhoods, crossing which is no less difficult.
This is not a journey to bury the body of a father, but rather a journey of self-discovery, and how hard death is. It is a novel about the power of life, but death here is an excuse, nothing more.
